About mission director
Rev. Ramachandran Periyasamy. Mission Director- PEC . He is doing Ministry in India's various states and districts from Singapore.
Ramachandran periyasamy was born and raised in singapore and works with the Singapore Civil Service. He was converted from a Hindu background at a very young age and was instrumental in leading his parents and siblings to the Lord.
Today in addition to his full time work in the civil service he serves as Chairman and Missions Pastor of his church, overseeing a number of mission outreaches in the developing countries and travels regularly to the various mission fields to equip, encourage and supervise the work.
He initiated a Rural Area Evangelism Project that takes the Gospel to unreached villages in Andhra Pradesh, India and in starting short-term church planting courses. Under his leadership, church planting activities have been established in 12 states in India and in 5 different countries, with 8 training centers in india alone. As a result of these endeavours, more than 6000 churches and cell centres have been established and pioneered in India, Nepal, Butan, Myanmar with more to be added in Indonesia.
Rev. Ramachandran Periasamy is in an international Faculty for Haggai Institute and also a licensed associate trainer for John Maxwell's leadership program called "Equip". He has conducted leadership/evangelism training/seminars in 17 countries, especially reaching out to the Christians in the market place.
Particularly in tamilnadu they are doing ministry among uneducated people. They are focusing on church planting in rural places. And they help pastors to build the churches and making people to gather in one place to worship.
And they are equipping ministers and pastors by running Bible colleges.
Rama and his wife, Jeya, have three children. Jessica, Jecintha, and Jonathan.
